#KICKCANCER charity wristband - choose your own size and colour

The #kickcancer campaign came about from twitter user Rebecca Joyce otherwise known as @bubblybex. Currently fighting cancer herself, she decided to set up a dedicated twitter account "@kickcancer" to get people involved in raising awareness.

The purpose of adding #kickcancer in all tweets is to not only make it be a top trend, but in the process get as many different people possible to tweet it. The more people tweeting #kickcancer means more are aware of this important cause.

Not to be outdone, a Kickcancer page was set up on facebook Kickcancer on Facebook which has over 2,000 members. The site encourages everyone to leave messages regarding how cancer has affected peoples life and is a wonderful place to find support. A current facebook campaign is to post photos of the boots you use to "kickcancer"
